JUMP IN!

Jump, roll and explore with a grown up!

An opportunity for children from walking age - 4 years old to enjoy exploring our equipment together with their adult, including elements of challenge for older children.

Please note that booking in advance is essential for JUMP IN! sessions to keep everyone safe. We cannot accept walk-ins.

JUMP IN! sessions are split into 3 activities:

•    Go explore – children can explore an exciting range of equipment and activity stations with their adult and our coaches
•    Come together – children and adults gather for a group activity focusing on communication, interaction and physical development
•    Aim high – children are challenged on more structured activities to work towards their own development goals

Tiny Gym

Kickstart your gymnastics journey at Steel City Tiny Gym!

In this independent session for age 3 and up, we deliver a play-based approach to coaching the very important foundations of gymnastics.
As we focus on school readiness, structure and focus, we strongly encourage parents to go and enjoy a coffee in one of our many fantastic surrounding cafes whilst our little gymnasts get to work!
Children will be welcomed in with a fun warm up game, followed by a stretch and shape work. We then follow a four week cycle of apparatus work, working towards progression level certificates and medals. Sessions are ended with a cool down, individual praise and stickers.

Every Monday, Friday and Saturday 9:30-10:30am

Where are sessions held?

All sessions are held at our venue: The Forge, 1 Wallace Road, Sheffield S3 9SR. We have plenty of parking spaces in our free car park and there is also lots of free on-street parking on the surrounding roads. We have room for pushchairs to be brought inside, there are 2 small steps as you come up to the door but we are on hand to help. We have baby change facilities including wipes. Our bathroom facilities are fully accessible for those with additional mobility needs.

What should my child wear?

Children should wear comfortable clothing they can move freely in, bare feet (socks if required) with long hair tied back and all jewellery removed for safety. We ask that adults remove any outdoor shoes when on our sprung floor to protect the carpeted surface.

Please let us know if you have any further questions – we are happy to help.
